At the close of a profound Easter Week of Spiritual Emphasis, which started on the 15th of April and continued through to the 19th of April, we gathered in joy and praise to our Lord as we witnessed not one, but two Sabbath baptisms. An outward symbol of the inward transformation made possible by Christ’s sacrifice.

Lead by pastor Yimi Duarte and pastor Cesar Cardenas, the theme was: He Did It All for You. Hearts were stirred as firstly Brent stepped into the waters, embracing the new life that Jesus freely gives. At lunchtime, we recieved the beautful news that the Holy Spirit moved in Brent's wife's heart, Marelyvs, and she also decided to be baptised that afternoon. As they rose from the depths, washed in grace, the weight of the past melted away, replaced by the hope of salvation in Jesus.

This sacred moment was more than ceremony—it was testimony. A declaration that Christ’s love is personal, His sacrifice intentional, and His victory shared with each one of us.

As the call was made, 5 others expressed their desire for baptism to surrender their lives to Him as well.

It was an amazing spiritual revival for each and everyone of us. How the Holy Spirit continues to work on the hearts of those who seek Him.

As we welcomed Brent and Mare into our family of faith, we were reminded: Easter isn’t just a season. It’s a living promise. And today, we saw that promise fulfilled.
